I just can't get enough of him! I guess it all goes back to when I was a foster parent and always, always had babies in my home. The big difference is that those babies were all abused babies and needed a different kind of love than Crawford does. Having a normal, healthy child, one who is adored by his parents has given me a whole new lease on life. I know that sounds a bit grandiose but it's just the truth. I can't wait for him to get here in the mornings and I dread when his Mom comes to pick him up - in a few words, I've just fallen madly in love with the little guy!
He doesn't care what I look like in the mornings - he loves me no matter what and always has a big smile on his face when he sees me. He cuddles and snuggles and giggles and grins at the slightest thing I do! His Mom and Dad pay me to keep him, which is nice and I love it, but I find myself in the baby section of Walmart buying cute little toys that I think he just has to have, so I'm not making much money! LOL
I guess I didn't realize how much I missed having a little one about - even when he's cranky, I love taking care of him!
Thank you to all of you for allowing me to just bombard the Gallery with layouts of my little man - Project 2013 came along at just the right time and I'm having a ball doing layouts about Crawford's days.....or as I call him - "scooter-butt"!
I thanked his Grandmother the other day for sharing Crawford with me and she said the nicest thing to me - she said, "thank YOU for being the one with whom we share him" - I cried! I'm so happy that they are happy with the care I give - it makes me feel good!
Just sayin'

LOL LOL LOL I'm the lucky one, Belle - one day I'll have to tell you my story about why I committed to taking care of children - it goes back almost 40 years!

I love seeing your pages, they make me smile and I can imagine Crawford enjoying them in years to come and his parents' delight when they see it.

Thanks, Shannon - I know that makes it a lot easier for you to leave Little Miss Ava and go to work - I text message Crawford's Mom a few times a day with a pic of "what he's doing right now" just so she can feel at ease - I think it helps her a lot. Still, having Crawford here is a blessing for me in so many ways. You're fortunate that you've found someone with whom you are comfortable too - that's awesome!
