I would like to buy a collection that is available in 12x12 and also in 8.5x11.

I'm thinking I should buy it in 12x12 so I could scrap in that size if I want to - - but then if I want to scrap in 8.5x11, it would be easy to reduce it to the smaller size later. Is this correct?

Some of the items are easier to change to 8 1/2 x 11 than others, but if I were doing both, I would choose the 12x12 products.

Deb, there is also a wonderful action available which will help you to re-size layouts:

Deb, here's another consideration--some 8.5x11s are best used portrait, others are configured for both portrait & landscape. I do 8.5x11 landscape, and at least in one case, the designer recommend it would be better to resize 12x12 than to buy portrait and try to get it to work landscape.

OK, thanks. So, if I'm understanding correctly, I will be buying the 12x12 products - and then just resizing them if I need to.
