Friday 3/29 Scraplift Challenge

19 posts in this topic

Happy Friday Y'all! It's supposed to be warm and sunny here for a few days...bring it on!! Today's challenge is to scraplift one of our weekly layout winners.

Here is the gallery: Weekly Digital Scrapbooking Layout Winners

When you are done post your layout in the General Message Board Challenges Gallery and post a link back in this thread.

What is scraplifting?? Scraplifting is when you use another person's layout for inspiration. You can choose to imitate their photo placement, color scheme, collections used, overall theme, or whatever appeals to you most. Scraplifting Etiquette

I like the scraplift challenges because they force me to do things I wouldn't normally do. Unfortunately I don't really know how to do them :wobbly-eyes: . Best thing about Photoshop is that there are different ways to get it done! Here is my page -Graduate

As I was looking through the Layout Winners Gallery I came across Alsoarty's layout entitled Us Girls. It brought to mind a photo of my Mom and her friends at the beach in 1934. My Mom is the second from the left in the top photo and second from the right in the bottom photo. So here it is:

Wow, Andrea! LOL, I see I am not the only one who landed on your beautiful Us Girls! I've had that in the back of my mind since you posted it, and went in search as soon as this fun Challenge was posted.

Thanks Andrea and Conda! Here's mine: Back in 1957
