I remember mine came right after Black Friday and I didn't even open the box for a week because I didn't have enough time to devote to it. And, now I even forgot that part! In the meantime, this book My New Mac was helpful to me when I got mine. I have Snow Leopard, but this one is for Mountain Lion I see. I found it useful to read, maybe you would too? I have always had good luck with Mac support and the link Sandi provided you with - if I can help, pm me and I'll do my best to walk you through it if you don't get any help from Mac support but really they are very, very good with providing answers and help. They've been great whenever I've had to use them. And I sure understand your being anxious - I'd want to be up, started and playing too after all your waiting! They got me out of the thing I was in and helped me get started. I'm on it now, and have scrapgirls as my my homepage for now. I've loaded PSE and although I have one mac book from the library, I will be buying a beginner Mac book. SandiC. Posted April 12, 2013 Share Posted April 12, 2013 I think learning the names of things was the biggest obstacle. I had the store set mine up so I didn't have the hassle you are having. I'll be honest, once in a little while there is a glitch here or there. And you don't have to stick with Safari, you can use any of the other browsers, it just comes loaded with Safari.
