misspolly Posted April 18, 2013 Share Posted April 18, 2013 My name is Polly and I'm a scrapbook procrastinator. I thought I'd introduce myself because you all seem like such a wonderful bunch here. So, here goes ... HI! I'm pretty new to the digital scrapbooking world but I've been doing the messy real world stuff for years. I've been using Photoshop for a very long time, and I'm teaching myself Illustrator. Although I do enjoy getting down and dirty with the physical stuff, I love the endless customisation possibilities that come with digital scrapbooking. I have a collection of a million physical scrapbook papers and elements, and a new but fast growing collection of the digital stuff. I can't help myself! It's an addiction! I'm sure one day I'll use it all; in the meantime, I'll just admire all of the pretty things ... Some day I hope to make my own kits. For now, I'll just stick with the pros When I'm not obsessively purchasing scrap stuff, I read voraciously, watch way too much television and promise that I'll do the laundry. Later. I have a teeny six month old baby boy - who is, naturally, the star of my scrapbooking projects at present - and a lovely fiancé who's just happy that I now confine my mess to the computer rather than the dining room table (and the kitchen bench, the bedside table, living room floor, my desk, his desk, etc ...). I can totally relate to the real-world scrapping stuff taking over...that used to be my life until I went completely digital! Now I'm excited to be able to 'clean up' by turning off my monitor!
