They have now killed the numbered editions; if you want their products, you must pay for a subscription, month-to-month or annual. For the first year (only) they're providing a discount for folks who had prior versions. After that--full price. The plan is probably ok if you upgraded for every edition, but NOT if you bought a product like CS4, and expect to amortize it over a number of years. They claim customers prefer subscriptions. BarbaraC1977 Posted May 6, 2013 Author Share Posted May 6, 2013 yes, and they are incredibly unresponsive to pleas, over and over, both from their customers and their official "proponents" to do things like let the user make tools or especially the triangles for clicking tool extensions LARGER, or to let users customize their toolbox, as Corel Photo-Paint does. I switched to PS to use styles and actions, but I'm beginning to think I'll use my existing PS CS4 for those, and go back to Corel, or try Serif or Gimp. I will not be paying for a subscription either and am just happy that I've upgraded to the latest versions of Creative Suites. It will just have to do!
