scrap_horse
First, thanks for the people who shared on other threads how to get actions, styles, brushes, etc. into PSE 11. Question: If we are "loading" rather than "installing" as in previous versions, does that mean we have to "load" an action, for example, every time we open the program and want to use it? Or will it always be there just like installing? Don't want to waste time loading everything at once if that is the case. Thanks! Also, are there any SG styles, actions, etc. that are known NOT to work in PSE11 (that worked in earlier versions of PSE)?

Hi Jennifer, When you load a style/action it will stay in the styles/actions palette until you delete it from the palette - There is no need to re-load each time you want to use it, with the exception of brushes. When you load a brush, it will only stay in the palette temporarily. If you want it to remain in the palette for future use, you need to install it. See my instructions here in post #8 under To Install Brushes The actions and styles I used in previous versions of PSE all work fine in PSE 11. The brush thing, got it. :-) (worked the same on good old PSE5) Now I'm off to load actions and styles, yay! First time in a while that I'll have everything in PSE like I want! While I'm here, is there any reason not to load over a certain amount of styles? Is there a maximum? I think I've doubled my styles stash since I last had them in PSE. (yes, many I haven't had a chance to use yet!)
