Vianna
I'm using a round brush, and want it to look like oil paint applied with a palette knife (see attachment painting) Anyone know a Style that gives this result? I found Sugar Plum, but it's too much like cake frosting. Thank you. Vianna

Vianna
Thank you, everyone. I think one or two from the 8501 will work (maybe if I ad some more filters to them) but I really would like someone to design a more aggressive, dimensional style, where the color will look as if it were heavily applied with the palette knife (as in the attachment provided in my first post above). Again, thank you and best wishes, Vianna (in Florida)
Elisha
If I was trying to achieve this look with a photo, I would probably use Durin's Gesso paper templates as an overlay or as a texturizer filter: ScrapSimple Paper Templates: Gesso Biggie Here I saved one of the papers as a .psd file. With my photo open in photoshop and the layer selected, I used the texturizer filter. you have the option to load a texture (it has to be a .psd file), and I chose the one I previously saved. After a little adjusting the relief bar, I got this: If you want more texture, you can run it more than once. Oh, and thanks for trying the sugar plum style! Sorry it didn't work for you, but I intended it to look like frosting!!! Maybe I can work on getting a style out that you're looking for. It would be so much easier to click once and apply the style! A-M
I just had a look in the boutique and if you type in the search "cracked paint" or "faux finish" there are some products that may work for you.
