SayCindy
How do I sent via Facebook pictures that have not been shrunk or resized in any way, i.e. raw photos? I think my software must automatically resize my pics...I don't know. I just put the memory card in my computer and download them and go from there. This person is wanting the very large pictures so how would I go about "upsizing" them for her to send to a printing company. Hope this makes sense. I don't know what I don't know, so hard to even put this into the form of a question. TIA
ScrapGram
I totally understand your question, but unfortunately, I don't know the answer. Someone will be along soon who does I am sure. Could you save them to a DVD/CD and give/mail them to her that way?
Laurel Lakey
From my understanding, anything you post or send through Facebook is automatically resized by Facebook. At least, that's the experience I've had with them in the past. Can you email them to this person instead? Then you could put the pictures on a zip file and can give them the full-sized photos. But like I said, that's just been my experience, so I hope there is someone out there who knows better. Otherwise I'd send them through email instead. Good luck, sorry that's not much help! SayCindy
I do have her personal e-mail address now but still have the problem of the size of the pics. I can get un shrunk pics up using paint program but not any other program on my computer that I am aware of. Thanks.
JenniferZ
When you post pictures to facebook, along the bottom of the upload screen is a little check box that says "High Quality" (takes longer to download, but they are print quality). If you don't select this box, your photos will automatically be resized for screen viewing. If these are photos that you uploaded to fb, just delete and re-upload and make sure you select the HQ version. Then your friend can pull them off and they will be print quality. HTH! :)/>
Cheri T
Another option would be Dropbox (dropbox.com) - it's free and allows you to share folders with whomever you need to. Either or both of you can upload things to the Drop box folder and either or both of you can retrieve things from the folder. I use it all the time and love it. I even have my mobile phone photos automatically uploaded to a folder just for me, as a backup in case something happens to my phone.
