Nicole1970
Ok I keep saying I'm going to start this digital scrapbooking so I am hoping 2014 is the year I'm going to start (I came on here early last year to start but never got there lol) Today I opened a new document in PSE & set it up and the background went into the layer side but it comes up locked (there's a padlock beside it) While playing around have I done something? Can I make it so it doesn't do this again? TIA Nicole
teecee
Hi Nicole, Try double-clicking on the locked layer in the layers palette to unlock it. A New Layer box will pop up and just click OK. This will name the layer 0, but it should be unlocked. You can always re-name the layer later if you wish. HTH
Nicole1970
Thanks teecee, Do you think it was something I clicked on because I don't think it's normal is it?
teecee
Yes, it is normal, and nothing you've done wrong. As a matter of fact, I think new documents and jpegs always open as locked backgrounds.
