Saturday Color Challenge 2/8/2014

18 posts in this topic

Happy Saturday!! Did everyone watch the opening ceremony for the winter Olympics? We didn't, but according to my Facebook news feed, everyone else did!

Today's challenge is to scrap with the colors of the Olympic Rings, blue, yellow, black, green and red.

The symbol of the Olympic Games is composed of five interlocking rings, colored blue, yellow, black, green, and red on a white field, known as the "Olympic rings", designed in 1912. The ring colors with the white background stand for those colors that appeared on all the national flags that competed in the Olympic games at that time.

Please upload your layout in the Saturday Color Challenge Gallery and post a link back in this thread.

Good idea for the colors this week! I meant to do a red layout last week and got distracted. Maybe I'll put in extra red this week. :)

I am sure to get one done today too. Great challenge. The opening ceremony was really beautiful.
