kivi5
Layout #4 task #4 I added ABR Bitty patterns paper. for this task. then i decided I wanted to change the mask i used on my bigger photo. So i used BMU Torn Paper Masks to remask my picture of Lexi standing. I think i'm still in the spirit of the game with the rotate.
AnnBK
That really wasn't so bad...makes me wonder what's coming next, though. I added a striped paper on the bottom layer, just an edge top and bottom showing.
jenrou
Not a lot I can do with this, so.. Clipped a patterned paper to a circle shape and you can barely see it. _KME_SpringEternal_Paper-pink patterned paper clipped to a circle shape.
alsoarty
Ok that solved a problem, it added color to my background to bring my bright photos in...
Jane in N.Z
Once I got over the shock of adding a patterened paper I came up with this using BMU_Serendipity_Paper_MumsGreen clipped to JRA_SSEmb_PhotoMasks_Spots.
AggieB
layout #4 task #3. this was not a good change. defeated the idea of my daughter crawling across the page. Hmmm..hopefully the next tasks solve this? Maybe you could do a little blending on the busier paper so the bottom paper shows through and 'clear a path'? AggieB
I added the freebie from Jennifer Ziegler - such a pretty paper. Then I decided the red & green looked too much like Christmas, so I changed the colors of both patterned papers to match the colors in the costume. Then, I decided to add some curves, so I used a mask on the now blue paper to show some of the white. Can't wait to see what happens next.
jenrou
I keep looking at mine, to see if I can change it, but I already had patterned papers, so I guess I'll leave it alone.
luckyladybug
Playing catch up--this week is just too weird. I desperately need a scrap break, though. Layout #4 Task #1 Start a new layout, and pick two papers: DCA_LoveSoSweet_BrownSentiment.jpg DCA_Blanched_Paper1.png copy
luckyladybug
Layout #4 Task #2 Add an even number of photos, with one cropped into a shape. I used family photos from Valentine's Day 2012. I cropped a photo of my boys into a heart, and actually spent some time matting it and working on the shadows so the matte looks overlapped. piraterose
at first I felt like I was placing embellishments for the sake of 15 embellishments, but I'm really happy with how it came out, I think the cluttered look goes well, and turned the page into what I was hoping for. Most of the embellishments are from the Ravenwood collection with the few extra things for elsewhere. I'm going to hope there is no surprise for tomorrow and it's just title and journalling and tweaking, because I am leaving for a family wedding in the morning have have to finish this today. lorac
Today's 'Daily Inspiration' from Jonathan Lockwood Huie is 'Power of Imagination'. I'm sure going to need both power and imagination to get 15 embellishments on my layout. Yikes! Well, I'm off to see what I can do. Get thee behind that couch, and fast. jhbren
I think we can stop complaining, ladies. The layouts so far don't look as if embellishments were added just because someone-who-shall-not-be-named told you to. They all appear carefully, intentionally designed. I thought 15 would be impossible, but I wound up with 19, and a few more I may add tomorrow. Are we having fun yet? still? I am! Layout 4, Task 5 I'll list the credits with the layout; there are 2 rows of bubbles, 1 ball, 2 flip-flops, 2 popsicles, and 12 brads.
AnnBK
I agree with Jo...not as hard as I thought it might be. But there's always tomorrow! I added 2 frames, 3 staples, 1 word art, a net, 2 postcards, 1 globe, 1 binocular, 1 suitcase, two quills, and one raffia bow.

Nica
Well, I cheated on this one...I used some clusters from the SG Club associated with the Yours Truly Collection Biggie. I'm not completely satisfied yet, but it'll do for now. LO4 Day5:
