I have been trying to play a video tutorial and need help...the Widows media player opens when I click on it but it needs to play in the Quick Time player,,,,I do have that installed but when I open that it has all the commercial stuff on the screen....how do I get the video on it,,,,,I imagine the Windows player is the default.... when that opens I get a message saying it cannot play the file or may not support the Codec that was used to compress the file.....any ideas????

Hi Carol, I don't know if this will be any help or not, but not too long ago I had some trouble getting a video to play; I right clicked on it and chose Open with>QuickTime Player, then it played just fine. HTH

If that doesn't work for you, maybe someone else will have some ideas...

Right clicking is the way to go I think. You will find that you  have more than one way to play the video. I always select Picassa if I can.
