Ande43 Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 I have been trying to play a video tutorial and need help...the Widows media player opens when I click on it but it needs to play in the Quick Time player,,,,I do have that installed but when I open that it has all the commercial stuff on the screen....how do I get the video on it,,,,,I imagine the Windows player is the default.... when that opens I get a message saying it cannot play the file or may not support the Codec that was used to compress the file.....any ideas???? teecee Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 Hi Carol, I don't know if this will be any help or not, but not too long ago I had some trouble getting a video to play; I right clicked on it and chose Open with>QuickTime Player, then it played just fine.
