Organizing All My Supplies In Pse 9.0

I started uploading my supplies which are stored on my hard drive and EHD onto Photoshop Elements 9.0 so I can catagorize them and tag them. I have 2 questions:

 

when I try to high light a group together to tag them and I am holding down my shift key it will now always hightlight them so I am having to tag each individual..is there something I'm doing wrong or maybe it's my program acting up?

 

once I have them stored and catagorize them and I which over to edit mode to start working on a project how do I access these supplies from my photoshop elements where I have tagged and organized these supplies

Hi Shelley!

When tagging multiple items in Organiser I believe you have to stack them? Right click to Stack>stack selected photos, this will put th all in a 'pile' and you can tag them all at once. To open a stak you can just click in the little arrow next to it. There is also a feature to Expand all stacks or collapse all stacks in the top drop down menus (not sure which from memory but it is easy to find!).

 

As for working in Organiser and editor, they will pop up in your open programs, just switch between them. Any supply you wish to use in editor you right click and select edit with photoshop elements editor (2nd grouping, top choice).

You can select multiple items this way too by using the shift key like you mentioned or individual items that are not adjacent by using the control key when selecting :-).
