Welcome to the challenge for the first Monday in June! WOW! Did I just say the first Monday in June, already?!? It seems just a few short weeks ago I was feeling kind of down and dreary with all the cold, icy, snowy and gloomy weather we had been having for so long. Now with the nice, warm, sunny and pretty weather we’re having I’m feeling so much happier - which brings me to our challenges for this month…

When you look at a layout, do you sense a particular mood, tone, or feeling? What kinds of words would you use to describe the page – happy, sad, cool, warm, silly, serious, whimsical, elegant, etc.?

Each week this month, I will assign a specific mood or tone for you to try to use in creating your layouts. So, this week’s challenge is for you to create a “happy” page (as opposed to elegant, dreamy, rustic, serious, etc.) While designing your page, you may want to keep in mind there are other similar feelings you could convey such as cheerful, lively, energetic, lighthearted, etc. Just remember the overall main mood/ tone of the page should be “happy”.

Here are a few examples of products I think would help to make great “happy” layouts:

Remember to upload your layouts to the Monday Challenge Gallery and post a link in this thread.

I’ll be looking forward to seeing some happiness in the gallery! :happy-sun:

Here's my layout: Summer Girl

I did a twofer - imagine that! My layout, Elizabeth - Bubbleologist - is posted in the Tuesday challenge gallery, because I also used photo masks on the page. But the photos remind me of a happy spring evening. Even though she looks rather serious, Elizabeth was having a wonderful time playing, and the light was magical. Thanks for the challenge, Theresa.
