tiza126
Good morning! The Scrap Girls Blog has a series where they interview the designers and creative team about their layout design process. If you've ever wanted to peek inside the minds of our creative team and learn how they think through their stunning layouts, these are the blog posts to read!! Last week, the layout design process segment featured Amy Flanagan - http://scrapgirls.com/blog/layout-design-process-amy-flanagan/ Here are some of the techniques/tools she mentioned in her design process: Extending a photo to fill a frame Use of White Space Art Journaling Effect Visual Triangles / Chevrons to draw the eye to the subject Brush Work Blending Modes Use of a Stroke on Word Art / Title As I read the post, I was inspired to try integrating some of her techniques and ideas on a layout of my own. I want to challenge you to do the same. Choose at least two of these techniques and incorporate them on your layout. When you finish your layout, post it to the SG Blog Challenge Layouts Gallery.
