:plane: Join us on the forum for the inaugural Scrap Girls World Tour :plane:

The Welcoming Committee are inviting you to join them on a tour around the World, Scrap Girls style. There will be chaos, mayhem, disaster and lots of fun. :sinking: You had better be aware our Captain is a little crazy. :wobbly-eyes:

Complete activities and layouts to gain stamps in the passport. Each stamp is worth one entry in the prize draw. At the end of the tour, we will do a random draw, and you could win one of five $5 Gift Certificates to use in the Scrap Girls Boutique.

  • Each time we stop at a new location we will give you some inspiration or other requirement for you to create a layout. Each inspiration or requirement is related in some way to our location
  • You are free to interpret each location’s inspiration/requirement in any way you wish.
  • Do not post your finished layout until we tell you to, just in case something un-expected happens.
  • Instructions for activities will be given in that day’s itinerary.
  • You do not have to complete a layout for every location or do every activity, unless you wish to.
  • You can combine inspirations; however, you can only receive one stamp in the passport for each layout.

Please be aware the passport will only be updated once a day, Monday to Saturday. If you think you are missing a stamp please feel free to send me a PM.

I don't get it. What must we do with the picture?

You don't need to do anything with it Belle. Each day I will update it with stamps for everyone who has completed a layout or activity.

Are you all ready?

Have you remembered to pack? We cannot go on a world tour without clothes, camera, laptop and scrapping supplies.

Search the boutique for your three favourite travel/vacation collections.

Requirement:

Share links to your three favourite travel/vacation collections in this thread. This is worth one stamp in the passport.

I still don't understand about the layouts we must make. Can you please explain.

It will probably make more sense when we give you your first layout inspiration, but let me see if I can make it a bit clearer for you.

This is just an example, don't create a layout with this.

Say we stop in Yorkshire, your instructions will look something like this.

Create a layout with CYCLING as your inspiration. (the Tour de France starts here this year)

You would then create a layout. Your layout could be about cycling, or you could take a different direction. Wheels springs to mind, which of course leads to circles. It's up to you, there is no right or wrong answer.

In some locations you will be asked to do something extra, but this would be more specific, like add a button.

Does that help?

This looks like fun! However .. . I'm packing for a road trip which will last until July 11 or 12, and I won't have my computer along. May join the journey mid-month.

Every day we'll give you a task... either a forum/boutique activity (like today's) or a layout prompt. When it's time to create a layout, you'll know.

Sure, Jo, no problem. You can try to catch up or just join in at that point, which ever is easier for you. Each stamp (activity or LO) is worth one entry in the prize draw.

Hi Marie, exactly what kind of trouble are you having? What are you trying to post? If you can be more specific, maybe we can help...
