I usually email if there are just a couple or open my phone as a storage device, ie I do not sync it to iTunes. I open up the storage part of my phone and download a large amount of photos at once. Let me know if you need help on iPhone, I am no help with other phones sorry :-(

And welcome to scrapgirls, you will LOVE digital!!

Just plug the phone in. Open the photo folder DCIM on your phone and drag to a folder on your desktop. Sort the photos into any folders where you need them. After that you just drag and drop into PS or PSE.

Hi Sarah and welcome to the wonderful world of digital scrapping..I have an Apple iPhone ....I use the charging cord and plug into my computer's usb port. and they load right on. A screen pops up on my phone asking if you trust the devise..yes, then on the computer a screen pops up asking if you want to import....again yes. I hope this helps.

Hi Sarah, welcome to Scrap Girls.

I have a Windows phone, mine plugs into the computer like an external hardrive would. When I had an Android phone I used to email them to myself.

I use Dropbox. I have the app installed on my phone, and I have it set to automatically upload photos I take with my phone to my dropbox folder "in the cloud" which automatically sync with the Dropbox folder on my pc. It works with a smartphone, Dropbox account, and a wireless network in my home. If you have those, you're set. There are no extra steps - the photos magically appear on my pc!

FYI - Since there were two of the same topic, I merged them.

It still sorts the posts by time, so they show in the order they appeared on both threads.

Thanks April! :)

Hi, Sarah! Welcome to ScrapGirls. You seem to have received lots of helpful answers. What will work probably depends on what type of phone and computer you're using. Like Debby (Boatlady), I usually connect my iPhone to my Mac with the charging cord. The photos download almost automatically, with some prompts, into iPhoto. As mentioned, email works well for small numbers of pictures. Good luck, and happy scrapping.
