October Atc Challenge & Swap

:waving-hi: Hello everyone!

I can hardly believe we're already into the month of October! Well, I was looking at my calendar and saw that World Smile Day is in the month of October (October 3rd), so I thought maybe Smiles would be a good theme for this month. As usual, anything goes as long as it has something to do with a smile(s), or smiling. :D

As always, remember part of the beauty of ATCs is that you don't have to include a photo if you don't have one you would like to use; though you may certainly use photos if you wish to. You can create a card with digital embellishments, brushes, word art, papers, styles/actions or just anything you have in your stash.

You may create as many cards as you would like, just please remember to sign and date each card. Upload them to the Artist Trading Cards - Digital & Hybrid Gallery and email the full resolution copy (750 x 1050 pixels at 300 ppi) to me at: scrapgirl.teecee@gmail.com for the swap. The cards will be due to me by Friday October 31st, and I'll try to post a new challenge on or around Saturday November 1st.

If you need extra help creating your cards, here are some great products made especially for ATCs:

ATC Backgrounds Paper Biggie
ScrapSimple Alpha Templates: Collage ATC
ScrapSimple Tools - Styles: ATC Shadows 12601
ScrapSimple Craft Templates: Artist Trading Cards
ScrapSimple Craft Templates: Artist Trading Cards 2
Printable Art and Crafts Sheet: ATC - The Robin
Value Pack: Artist Trading Cards

ScrapSimple Tools - Styles: ATC Glitter Super Biggie

ATC Watercolor Paper

ScrapSimple Paper Templates: ATC Backgrounds and Edges

Also, don't forget that with a little bit of re-sizing, many of the Pocket Life products may be used for ATCs.

I'll be looking forward to seeing your happy ATCs! Remember to have fun and keep smiling! :)

I had to laugh when I saw the theme for this month. I'm off work for a few days so I have been waiting for this post all day as I think I'm all ready addicted to making ATC's even though I've only done one. Also the reason I'm off from work is on Monday I had to have all my teeth pulled in preparation for dental implants so I've been going a little stir crazy. So that's why it made me laugh when I say that the theme was smiles. Needless to say I won't be using any current photos of myself. ;) Now I just have to think of what I DO want to do for my ATC.

Oh my, Kelly! I'm so sorry! If I had known, I probably would have chosen a different theme for this month. Having all your teeth pulled sound soooo painful! OUCH! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for a very speedy recovery. :bighug:

No worries Theresa! I think the theme is great! I'm recovery very well haven't had too much pain. I have temporary dentures so I talk funny and eating is a drag, only soft foods for now. But I've lost 2 pounds that I'm not sorry to lose! lol!

Just trying to formulate some ideas and get started!

Thanks for a little bit of fun... I am spending time on the computer today as our visitors left this morning... now to catch up this weekend on some neglected things around the house.

My ATC.... SMILE

Isn't this just the most wonderful theme. I'm loving all the ATCs that are appearing. I hope they continue to appear right through the month.

They sure do make you smile. Here is my contribution so far and hopefully some more to come.
