Happy Monday! :daisy:

For October, I thought we'd scrap "Real Life" as a theme. This week's challenge idea came to me when I saw a local High School's marquee which read:

"Acts of kindness

do not always have to be random".

Wikipedia says a random act of kindness is "a selfless act to assist or cheer up someone else and can be spontaneous or planned". The phrase may have been coined by Anne Herbert who says she wrote "Practice random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty" on a place mat at a Sausalito restaurant in the early 1980's. Since then sharing "random acts of kindness" has become an organized call to action in the name of kindness and an attempt to brighten another person's day by doing something thoughtful and caring. Kindness is a way of showing others they count and that even in the face of hostility and selfishness, you are making a stand for kindness...

So, today I challenge you to scrap an act of kindness - random or planned, given or received. When you are finished, please post your completed layout in the Monday Challenge Gallery

for all of us to share. I can't wait to see what you create! :)

Here's my layout:

This sounds a great challenge. I will see if I have any photos to fit this one.
