We will share some tips for using them and show you how one template can be used in many different ways. We will even give you a challenge using a template specially designed for this chat by Cindy Rohrbough. :yippee:

There will be lots of laughter, chatting and discussion - come join the fun and see what it's all about! :conversation:

A big special :thanks: to Cindy Rohrbough for designing our chat template for us.

:thankyou::bighug:

UPDATE: During the chat we discussed how a template is a STARTING point and guide and you can use and modify it for your own layout. Your challenge is to create a page using the template - and it doesn't have to be "as is."

When you are finished, please post your layout in the Scrap10 Challenge Gallery -

before 11:59pm ET to be eligible for a prize. And, don't forget the Grand Prize explained HERE

Here are my layouts:

Hummingbirds

Lake

And here are Valerie's pages:

Check out how different the layouts look while they ALL started with the same template! :)

Do we need to wait for the chat to be able to download the template?

We will update this thread with a link to the template within the next hour.

Thanks for the reply Valerie. It might keep me awake if I could start working on a layout.

I'm awake and ready for the chat. I love templates and try to use them frequently. I probably have hundreds by now after seven years of scrapping with Scrap Girls. Happy DSD everyone. See you in the chat room in a few minutes.

Thanks to all who participated in the DSD Templates Scrap10 Challenge, your layouts were GREAT and it was amazing to see how many different, yet equally beautiful pages could be made from one template!

Thanks so much for the template. I have not done challenges before, so I gave it a try. I love to use templates. I often change them drastically, but stuck pretty close to this one. I forgot to credit Linda Sattgast on the photos I fixed using Fix Photo Fast Actions that she offered in her class (I apologize). Is there a way to add that credit to my page credits? Here is my rendition of the template http://scrapgirls.net/forum/gallery/image/154112-evangabdekweb/ Thanks again for the fun challenge. Terri

Hi Terri, your layout is wonderful and it was nice meeting you in chats!

Sure, it's no problem and you can easily edit your page/credits.

Just go to your posted layout page and underneath your layout and the little photo strip you will see "Image Moderation".

Click that button, then click "Edit Image" from the two choices.

When you do that, your layout will come up in an edit box where you can change any words, add in your credits, etc.

You can even change the layout if you've fixed something and want to upload a new one!

That button is at the bottom of the page - "Upload a New Image" -- click the "choose file" button and then reupload whatever you need to.

When you are all finished, be sure to click the black "Edit Image" button and your post will be edited!

Thanks for participating and don't hesitate to ask anything else you need to know! :)
