Ande43 Posted November 9, 2014 Share Posted November 9, 2014 Everytime I open PSE 8 it opens and then right away shuts down/closes....then I get the message of a Crash Report....any idea what could be the problem or how to remedy it? this has never happened befor. Here are instructions I googled: If you've set Photoshop Elements to open in Full Edit (no Welcome window), do the following. 1) Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Mac: Cmd + Opt + Shift). 2) Open Photoshop Elements. A window will appear. 3) Click Yes to delete the Photoshop Elements preference file. A new preferences file is created the next time you start Photoshop Elements. This preferences file has default values. Go to Edit > Preferences, and using your notes, change the values to your liking. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ande43 Posted November 9, 2014 Author Share Posted November 9, 2014 Thanks Ladies.....I did uninstall and reinstalled it as most of the drop shadows had disappeared from the styles box too so wanted to see if that would be fixed and all is well with everything now Thanks!
