LadyL
hi there everyone, I'm wondering if anyone knows what colours were popular in Victorian London? I have a photo of my 3xgreat grandmother that was taken in London England in the late 1850s we think. She was married there in 1859 and there is no sign of a wedding ring in the photo. Also, are there any kits in particular that have a definite Victorian look to them? Anyone else scrapped such an old photo?

jode2771
I did some this age and used neutral colours - Shabby Blanc and Rustic amongst others... here are some links to show you how effective neutrals can be: http://scrapgirls.net/forum/gallery/image/152967-15sep14mon-chlg/ http://scrapgirls.net/forum/gallery/image/128853-4xgreat-grandparents/ Colour might be nice, I just liked the neutrals with the old photos :-)
MariJ
I love KVE Intaglio and used it here. Not quite the Victorian era but a photo from the 1920's and Victorian looking!
SodScrap
Great suggestions ladies! I always think pastels and neutrals, however i do think htey used some darker colors as well. Neutral with some color accents like Jody suggested is what I would do! Can't wait to see your layouts!
