SodScrap
We had our first family Christmas yesterday. It's always so nice to see my cousins and their children and my aunts and uncles. Lots of fun!! No more here until Christmas Eve. I think by now, maybe you have figured out I have a theme for this month's Monday challenges. I have enjoyed using the Easy Pages (JIffy pages, Jif6, etc). They are such an amazing tool our designers create for us!! However, I feel they are much over looked and under used. (At least for me!) I hope you are enjoying these "easy" challenges as much as I am! Your challenge is to create a layout using Easy Page, a Zoom Page or a Jif Kit. You MUST include 1) the date and 2) journaling. (Wow...did that sound a little bossy??) If you don't know the exact day and date, you can always use a general time like: "winter 2013" or even just the year "1982". You can find them here: Fast & Easy You can also use a Jiffy page, they are often included with the ScrapGirls club. I added a journal card from the coordinating collection and tucked it under the photo to add my date and a line of journaling. When you finish your layouts, post them to the Monday Challenge Gallery and post a link back in this thread. I need another cup of coffee...THEN I will post my layout. Rosemarythyme
I'm confused about terminology - is a collection mini the same as a zoom page or jif kit? It seems like Easy Page is a template, but I'm uncertain about the others.
SodScrap
I'm confused about terminology - is a collection mini the same as a zoom page or jif kit? It seems like Easy Page is a template, but I'm uncertain about the others. Rosemary-an "easy page" (or Jiffy page) is essentially a ready made layout that you drop your photos into/on. It's almost like an instant layout! I have an example of this below. A template is a layered file that you use to assemble a layout rather quickly, but you have to choose your own papers and embellishments, so although it is easier than "creating your own" it's not as quick as an Easy Page. (or JIF or Zoom). I hope I haven't confused you further!! Please post back other questions and I will be happy to help!! For instance: Camera Shy Easy Page Pro Album A JIF Kit (Just Insert Foto) is a "tiny collection" so to speak. Usually 3 papers and a few embellishments w/a word art. There will be a sample layout included so that you can recreate the layout quickly. Here is an example of a JIF Kit Plus Flights of Fancy Zoom Pages like this one Assemble Your Own Zoom Page Being with You a general description is: Assemble Your Own Zoom Pages are designed to work as two page spreads although you can rotate the supplies and use them in a variety of ways to achieve many digital scrapbooking layout looks. Included are 2 coordinated 12 x 12 digital backgrounds, several cut-a-parts and a smattering of embellishments, frames and word art.

I love the results of the use of the various "easy" options we have in the boutique. I have a lot of them in my supply stash, but rarely use them. I have a feeling there are others like that. Your layout is awesome!
