AnnBK
I just own loaded a 30 day trial of PS CC and am trying to find my way around. Does anyone know if there is something similar to the photo bin feature in PSE? And if there is, where is it?
mbc72
The one at the bottom, Ann? If there is I haven't found it, yet, and I have looked, it's one of my biggest pet peeves with PS CC. Hopefully someone with more experience will come along and enlighten us!
CRS
I am still using CS 5, so I'm no help. But my version doesn't have it.
Ngaire
Oooh this is exciting Ann!! Are you jumping from PSE to PSCC? Big learning curve. I haven't gone to PSCC as of yet still with PSCS5 and happy with that at the mo but will watch and see how you find PSCC. As regards to the photo bin I don't think that it is with the full version of PS. Ive seen lots of people disappointed with that when they transition from PSE to PS. but I could be wrong, lets see what others say but I hope you have a lot of fun playing with CC. :-)
April Showers
You can get Mini Bridge to open at the bottom of CS6 and it can work kind of like the bin. I assume you can use it in CC too. I always forget how to open it again when I close it though...
April Showers
To open it, go to File>Browse in Mini Bridge. I found a little tutorial on it.

Elisha
I'll tell you this... when I first started working with Photoshop, the photo bin was one of the first and biggest thing I missed! But as I continued to use PS, I found that I appreciated the larger working space. Now if I work in Elements, the photo bin just annoys me and I hide it! Boatlady
I agree Elisha, the photo bin is in the way, it would be much better on the side, I have plenty of room on the side with the 17"laptop. Oh well maybe next version it could be movable.
AnnBK
Thanks for all your input. I'm SLOWLY getting the hang of full PS, but not sure the investment would be worthwhile. I can do almost everything I need/want to do in PSE. I have 28 more days to make up my mind!
MariJ
You all are making me think. The new Macbook airs only come in 11 and 13" screen. I work on 13" now and would love to go to the 11", but the small workspace in PSE makes that look impossible. Maybe without the photobin the workspace would be bigger? Now.... To think about a new laptop and PS... Dreaming here....
AnnBK
You can always hook your Macbook to a larger screen. Not wishing to cause problems here!
