tulip918 Posted January 13, 2015 Share Posted January 13, 2015 I recently upgraded from PSE10 to PSE13. I had all of Christy Vanderwall's scripts. I found them very useful and they saved me a ton of time. I loved the supply tracker and the file save options. I can not get them to fun in PSE13. Westina Posted January 13, 2015 Share Posted January 13, 2015 Hi Tulip918, sorry to hear of the troubles. I use those scripts too and they are timesavers. They work for me in the latest version of Photoshop. I don't have PSE so do not have specific tips for you other than take a look at the installation instructions. jode2771 Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 I had a lot of issues with them in 12 also, you are not alone!! The only thing I found that helped was resetting preferences... Edit>Preferences>General then select reset on next launch... It restores everything to default but it often gets rid of little problems too! I went through a stage of doing this but it seems ok now and I haven't had to redo in a while... From memory there may have been a PSE update... Perhaps 13 needs an update for bug fixes?? Keep trying, eventually those much loved scripts will work... And I believe scripts are terribly hard and complex to write... Nothing else like them anywhere and believe me I have looked!! Andrea, it's a script that was written by a former SG designer which is why it's no longer available here. When run, it would make a list of all the supplies you had used in your layout. makib1218 Posted March 5, 2015 Share Posted March 5, 2015 HI I went back through my files and found a FAQ for her scripts and this is what it said Error message "Javascript code was missing" after installing the scripts for PSEIf you get this error message it is because the script file, jsx file, has been copied to the wrong location or is in the right location but somehow got renamed. The action and png files are correct, but the jsx file location must be corrected. Double check the path where the jsx file needs to be put. If this is the first script you are installing, there will not be any other files in the folder where the script goes, only other folders. Hope this helps!!
