Then, I thought...maybe other members feel the same way. I know you all are always open to suggestions, thoughts and ideas. I love that we as members can give you a shout out and you always listen. Even though there were a few kitchen collections and recipe cards, it never seemed what I needed to make cards for the swap. And, I'm always looking for simple food embellishments - like my black (AKA coffee) beans yesterday. Also, I find I usually end up using a 6x4 blank document because I need most of the background space for typing. So, it would sure be nice to have cards with lots of space for typing and a bunch of various matching kitchen/food backgrounds suitable for baking, main courses, desserts, appetizers, etc - all the stuff that we scrap throughout the year. Plus, matching embellishments and cooking things like bowls, spoons, beater, measuring spoons, salt and pepper - mostly cute pieces to add to the card since there's not a lot of room on them. "things" as Conda said that can be mixed and matched with the backgrounds included. I like realistic pieces since often I'm also using a photo on my card. Is that too much? Thought the same today as I was pulling out my recipe cards and designing the layouts. Bakery items, pots & pans, measuring cups/spoons, utensils, mixer/blender--stuff like that. Well that is a challenge I would like to take on! I've been wanting to put together something cooking/kitchen related for a while now, but felt a little daunted by the wonderful kits we already have. Becster Posted January 24, 2015 Share Posted January 24, 2015 For our challenges here at SG the base size is 1800x1200 px which I think is 6x4. I know when I used one from Grandma's Kitchen I had to resize it because it was a couple of pixels larger than that. As for names, how about just plain ol' "Gourmet"? I like short titles for collections. Sometimes when the names are long, there is trouble unzipping them in folders and they have to get moved to the Desktop.
