Task #2: I chose 3 photos of my precious nephews.

I cropped one photo and used some of Jody's suggested techniques learned during a Scrap Girls 10th Anniversary chat. Here's the link to the Dropbox download for the techniques. I use them quite a bit now.

Laura, thanks for the link. I don't remember those...maybe I'll try some of it. :)

This looks like something I'll enjoy doing. Never tried the Slow Scrap before, but since I now live in "lower, slower Delaware", I think it might be just right for me! I chose Syndee Nuckes' "Momento" from 2010. I'll be doing a layout from pictures taken during my sister-in-law and brother-in-law's recent 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration.

Welcome to the party! ;)

Task One

My current favourite collection is Brandy's Value Pack: Calico

I'm loving that collection as well. I'll have to find some pictures to use with it soon!

Task #2: I have 3 pictures of my nephew and sister visiting a dinosaur display at a museum. I haven't decided yet how I'm going to alter them.

Task #3: Off to pick my paper and play!

I am so slow I am just starting...I have had a nasty cold for over 2 weeks so my mind is a little slow.

Today I will get caught up, I hope it's not too late to participate.

I chose JZI-Flights of fancy

Three photos of our daughter and myself visiting my grand nephew.

I used a mask on Justin

Task #2 I have picked three photos of Kiahna I took the other day in a cute new top. I turned all three black and white so they work better with my collection.

Task #3 Paper added.

Task #2

I picked three photos of this little local cemetery with the most gorgeous covering of moss pinks.

All the photos had the saturation upped, it was a pretty gloomy day.
In addition, the photo of whole cemetery also darkened with multiple mode

Task #3

One paper added.

Task 4

Do your photos need framing? Find a frame or embellishment template to give your photos some pizazz. The embellishment template does not have to be part of your favorite collection.

Task 5

What is your favorite part of the photos you took - what is their story? Add at least 3 lines of journaling to your layout telling why those pics are so special. Don't forget to add in dates.

Catching up!

#1-Chose Playful Notions from about a dozen favorite child themed collection because it fit the photos I chose for task 2.

#2-Three pictures of Alta playing with her Christmas gift from me – fairly recent. Alteration was editing for exposure & clarity (they’re cell phone photos) and cropping.

#3-Picked Cindy’s Swirl paper from the collection; added the photos using Angie’s Series 12 LO template, rotated & nudged a bit.

#4-Framed with Thao’s Artisan Blue pinned frames – color and style worked with photos.

#5-Added title, and journaling. The photos are special to me because I gave Alta the wonderful, messy painting supplies, and it’s clear she liked them!
