tiza126
Throughout the week, you’ve been challenged to scrap about various metamorphoses and changes in your personal life and in the world around you. For today’s challenge, I want you to morph your actual photos. Alter them in some way. Some ideas: adjust the saturation, use blending modes, experiment with filters, or apply one of the many photo styles/actions available in the Scrap Girls boutique. Your layout should include at least one altered photo. Feel free to use multiple photos or altering techniques if you want a bigger challenge.Product Suggestions:ScrapSimple Tools - Actions: Magical Photos PSScrapSimple Tools - Styles: Photo Transfers 6401 Super BiggieScrapSimple Tools - Styles: Black and White Magic 6301ScrapSimple Tools - Styles: Soft Color 6301ScrapSimple Tools - Styles: Sepia Magic 6301ScrapSimple Tools - Styles: Bokeh 6401ScrapSimple Tools - Actions: Comic LineArtScrapSimple Tools - Actions: Neon Art(There are many more options in the Styles and Actions sections of the Boutique)When you are finished please post your completed layout in the Weekend Challenge Gallery for all of us to see and leave a link here in this thread. Scrapbooking newbie
Hi, my layout is posted here - A daughter is... I took my original photo and adjusted the levels, up'ed the contrast a bit and put a bit of a darkish brush work around the edges. I also brightened and sharpened her eyes a touch. Then I used it as the main image and blended it into the background. Thanks for the challenge and I can't wait to see everyone else's!
Florida granny
I have an idea for this one (I always enjoy altering photos. ) but it will have to wait until later in the weekend. Cool challenge!
Guest Doris R
Had this picture of our granddaughters with Grandfather taken a couple weeks ago. I extracted the people layered it on top of the original, made the original B&W, then made the color brighter and higher contrast. I also brushed an edge on the photo. http://scrapgirls.net/forum/gallery/image/156531-grandchildren-are-a-crown-medium-web-view/

Florida granny
Here's my layout for the challenge. Simple black and white then blending gave it a kind of antique look. This was a lot of fun to put together!
Nanscraps
I pretty much always do something to my photos, even if just altering levels. This will be fun!

AggieB
I often edit my photos, sometimes not because they need it, ha-ha!! I really enjoy the process, though, so much that I did two layouts: one uses a lens distortion filter, the other shows photos with increasing saturation. Thanks for a great challenge.
