Tartan meaning plaid? Just want to clarify.

Hmmm, I think so, but we'll need to double check with Valerie to be sure. It's probably too late to get in touch with her now - I'll leave her a message and she'll probably get back to me in the morning.

Tartan you say?!?! Well now I have to go into my old pre-digital photos and find some of my daughter during her highland dancing days...like 25 years ago. Where has the time gone? Okay...need to do some scanning now of my nine-year-old Meredith...hope the pictures come out okay.

Sorry I missed the weekend "love fest" I did most of mine on Friday I think. My husband was down for the weekend so I didn't spend a lot of time on the computer. I do leave love...just not in that time frame.

I am working on my Tartan page. It is another page from my cruise. If I had not already made a page for the town of Dunedin this would have been great as it was a Scottish settled town in New Zealand. So came up with something else.

Edinburgh? Great city! After the early disasters, it seems our trip is running quite smoothly. Maybe we'll have time here for a party with bagpipes. See you on deck!

Seeing is believing Diane..

Yikes! Hope it's not jinxed! I'd love to see some hunky bagpipers!

Hi Theresa, I tried to send you a pm but wouldn't go through. Do you have any way to know what task I'm missing? I thought I was up to date. It's not really a big deal, just wondering.

Thanks!

Hi Kelly, I just answered your PM...

I'm jumping ship in the morning to run off with a man for two days. :yippee: No, it is not the hunky waiter, not his lifeguard brother! It is someone I have known for a long, long, long time. Going to Seattle to see the Pompeii exhibit. Will have to play catch when I get back. Ya'all be good ( if that is possible ) while I'm gone!

Sounds like a great excursion, see you when you get back, Lynn.

Thought I'd missed my opportunity to post links - can I still put in some of the ones I did Sunday?

And I've found the perfect photo for the metal layout - still chuckling.

So long as they are from Saturday, Sunday or today, then yes.

We we had company most of the weekend so missed leaving comments....can I today????

Yes

Thanks Valerie

Yes thanks Valerie!

After a discussion with Theresa, It seems we have a language problem.

Tartan and plaid have different meanings/interpretations in the UK and US.

So after some thought you can use either tartan or plaid for your Scottish layout.

We are going to tour Edinburgh by bike today, finishing at the castle.

Seeing as some of you fell off your bikes, add some stars to your layout.

Post your layout in the World Tour Gallery. This is worth one stamp on the passport.

Ouch! It's been a while since I rode a bike and these hills did me in. OK... lots of stars going onto the page, LOL. I might have to recover while at the pool watching the hunky lifeguard.

I fall all the time too. Must be my age. LOL - but I am struggling to put stars on my tartan. UGH. **rant over**
