mbc72 Posted March 23, 2015 Share Posted March 23, 2015 This week for our Either/Or challenge let’s talk about templates and scraplifts. We all need a bit of outside inspiration from time to time, and where better to find some than in our boutique and gallery. With templates you get the bare bones to start a layout, it’s mostly about helping you with the general placement of photos, papers and embellishments. Scraplifting refers to using another layout to inspire you. It could be anything you like about the layout from photo placement to color combinations. Often how a fellow scrapper uses the embellishments will inspire me, especially if it’s a unique cluster. So, which do you prefer? We will be using our fabulous designers Cheri Thielke, Laurel Lakey or Amanda Fraijo-Tobin for inspiration. Make your layout using either a template from their boutique or scraplift a layout from their gallery (or boutique)- be sure you give credit if you do a scraplift. Once your layout is finished, upload your page to the Monday Layout Challenge Gallery.
