notsosavvy Posted April 23, 2015 Share Posted April 23, 2015 I am using Elements 7 and a template. I have placed my photo on the place spot in the template and did the ctrl G to anchor it. I cannot get the edit,stroke to work. I have tried it on the photo, and on the place spot. Still no stroke. Can you tell me what I need to do? April Showers Posted April 23, 2015 Share Posted April 23, 2015 You'll want to add the stroke on its own layer above the photo. Select the template layer by control+clicking on the thumbnail in the the layers panel. Then make sure your new blank layer is active and then use Edit>s\Stroke. Hope that helps! MariJ Posted April 24, 2015 Share Posted April 24, 2015 Sometimes for me in PSE6 if the "stroke" option is not highlighted (meaning I can't select it) I've found that means I have to "simplify" the layer I am wanting to add the stroke to.
