ValerieT
Welcome to our Month of Memories Forum Game! This month, we would like to focus on saving those everyday moments into lasting memories for you and your families. Think of it as creating a mini-album for the month. Each day, Monday through Friday, you will be given a prompt to help you scrap your memories daily for the month of May. On Saturday, you will be given a task that does not require you to create a layout. Prompts and tasks will be posted in a large purple font to make it easier to find. Not every layout has to include a photo; that will be up to you. By the end of May, you will have as many as 20 layouts completed!Because there are so many layouts this month, we encourage you to scrap in smaller sizes such as 4x6 inches or even create artist trading cards! You may combine prompts on your layout, but it will only count for one chance when drawing for the prize. Each layout you complete and post in the gallery will earn you one entry in the draw for a chance to win one of 5 $5 gift certificate for the boutique! You have until 11:59 PM (ET) on May 31st to post your layouts in the Month of Memories Gallery. Good Luck!

Becster
Will the prompts be progressive or will each one be a stand-alone LO? Wondering, because we have company two weekends and then the third weekend we will be traveling for our anniversary. Thanks!

ValerieT
Task #1 For a month full of scrapping, we encourage you to use a smaller size LO, like 4x6 inches. Templates are also encouraged, to help with the design. Choose a template and/or collection(s) to use for the Month of Memories Game. Templates are optional, and you can definitely use more than one collection, but we encourage you to keep it simple. Share a link in this thread to what you plan to use and how you plan to keep things simple!
ValerieT
I can't make up my mind on which collection to use, I'll see what the first scrapping task is first. I do however plan to use ScrapSimple Digital Layout Album Templates: 4x6 Daily Do. Using templates is the only way I think I will be able to keep up. That's great, I'm still having trouble on the computer so it might be easier to do a little layout each day. And, if I miss one I can just move on to the next if I can't catch up. This sounds like fun!

MariJ
This is such a cool idea! I'm thinking in the 4x6 size I can easily have my layouts printed as photos (& very cheaply at Costco!) and put them into a small photo book. And, there's some great templates in the Boutique to make it quicker and easier - I just might be able to scrap this month! Task 1: For now, I am going to use Scrap Simple Digital Layout Album Templates 4x6 Round Up and Scrap Simple Digital Layout Album Templates 4x6 Daily Do But, I must admit I'm looking at some of those other templates and 4x6 frames in the Boutique while there's still a sale on. I'm still looking to see what collection I'll be using but will post when I decide.

Ladies, you can do the "daily" 4x6 and then use those mini layouts on your 12x12 pages. You can easily get 3 to a page... Or if you choose ATC size, you could get more to a page. Just a thought.
