May 22-Task #18 My Least favoriteWhat is the least favorite part of your day? A chore that you dislike more than others? Your challenge is to create a layout of the least favorite part of your day today.

Oh, no! You're going to make me take a picture of the stack of dirty dishes and the pile of laundry? Yikes, that will be an ugly one. Maybe there are some pretty embellies that I can dig out of my stash to jazz it up a bit! Lol

You;re funny Laura. I was thinking the same. LOL well the dishes part not the laundry I love doing laundry.

You need to come to my house, Andrea, I always have laundry to do!!!

I'll come to anyone's house to do laundry - but be warned, I do ironing too!

I guess I will have to try this task tomorrow... I didn't have a least favorite part today. I'm still recovering from my surgery so any chore I could do was a blessing because it means I'm healing. Also I spent a good part of the day chatting on Facebook with a new found relative that I didn't know until recently. You could say I was a bundle of nerves most of the day. I also talked with my sister for over an hour so really I didn't get much done but it was a glorious day!!!!

May 23-Task #19 Progress

How is your Month of Memories coming along? Are you keeping up or falling behind? What has been your favorite challenge so far? What’s been the hardest for you? Have you stuck with the same templates/collections you posted in the first task, or have you gone in a new direction? Share in this post how you are doing!

Reminder: There won't be a task posted tomorrow (Sunday), but Theresa (Tiza) will be back Monday with a new task for you. Keep up the great work and have a wonderful weekend! :daisy:

I was just coming to post to say we are leaving today for a 4-day camping trip. The first of the season and Rosie's very first camping trip!! We always go over Memorial Day weekend but Tom and I take off Tuesday so we don't drive home with the mad rush on Monday. We also go further north where the campgrounds tend to be less than 30% full. ANYWAY, I won't miss out on very many Tasks!

This has been a fun month of challenges. I have been able to keep up, however I have not scrapped one page for my 2015 PL for May ... I'll have to catch up on that. I did not stick with the same collections I originally thought but ventured out according to the photo and challenge. My least favorite challenge was the selfie - and that will probably always be a difficult task for me - just don't like to pose for the camera!! My favorite ... hmmmmm, there have been lots as these were great challenges. Kudos to the ScrapGirls Welcome Team for coming up with a fantastic May game!!

Behind again. Maybe Monday I can catch up some. Today and tomorrow are full days!

I've basically stuck with one template set and one collection. But I did use a second set of templates once or twice, and now I've used a second collection twice. I'm not sure how I like the bright colors with some of my photos, but the bright colors are cheerful!

Now I'm off to a softball tournament. Just two games today, but it's cold out there! Then tomorrow, more games and my dd turns 13! How did she get to be a teenager???

Thank you for this wonderful month of fun. :2468who-do-we-appreciate:

I think I have been able to keep up pretty well but it is a hectic month for me with 6 birthdays , 2 anniversaries and we launch the boat which means lots of extra work getting it ready then :drive1: moving it to homeport.

I guess it's a age thing but selfie was my least favorite to do but one of my favorites to look at because I get to see what everyone looks like now. My favorite was the home town although I had to use homeport because I am in the water home not at the dirt house. It was great to see the towns that all my digi-scrapper friends live in.

I strayed from my original list of products to use....but I did stick with the theme of making it a story of me with my grandchildren in mind.

My Least Favorite

I have managed to stick with the same collection and templates. (I did use one different template) I really think it has saved time not hunting through "everything". Most/least favorite? I really have liked them all because they have caused me to capture things I wouldn't usually...especially that dreaded selfie. ;) Fun fun fun challenges. I am all caught up now, however, I'm behind a few days (maybe all week, ack!) of comments in the gallery. I will work on that throughout the day as my back needs to rest from other duties.

Keep up the great work ladies!

May 23: How my month is coming along.

I've managed to keep up with the layouts (except 1; I'm still trying to get inspired for "then and now"). I had planned to keep the layouts very simple by using Pocket Life products. That plan has worked about half the time. I found that I needed to do regular layouts, too, in the Pocket Life 3x4 size just because I don't have enough different cards in my stash and I wanted to minimize the different colors and styles. Speaking of colors, the original plan was to make everything black and white with one other color. That plan went out with week 2. :D Still, when I put my different cards together, they seem to coordinate OK so I'm happy.

The most fun this month has been looking at the gallery! It's great to see everyone else's month.

Task #19

I have caught up again with all the challenges but I'm not able to complete them on a daily basis, work get's in the way LOL :)

I enjoyed all of the challenges but found 'My town' the most difficult.

I have used the template a couple of times with the selection I choose from the beginning, it didn't take too long to find myself using other collection along the way.

My most favourite card is when I met my great-grandma for the very first time.

I am really enjoying seeing all my scrapgirls friends and where you live and what you all get up to- great fun to see.

I've mostly used this month's SG Club - a few pages I used a bit of color - for the challenge of the day. And I am all caught up. My least favorite was my worst time of day, or no, my Selfie. It looks like I have a gap in my teeth - and I don't lol. Favorite - is all of them! Love this month's game.

Task #17 - selfie

Still need to task #18 least favorite part of day/chore

Task #19

No I'm not caught up as I have Friday's task to do and I need to LSL. I have used the same collection and that was a challenge sometimes. So I would say that was the hardest part. I think everything has been my favorite. I have been on a leave of absence from work this whole month so this has given me something to look forward to everyday. It has been a lot of fun! And to think I almost didn't participate! So glad I did!!!

Task #19. I am LOVING this month's challenges!

I soon realised that ATC's would be the best way to go and changed from the 5 x 7 format I first started with. Like some others, I am putting the individual cards onto a larger page for printing out at some later stage. I have pretty much kept with the collection I started with but have added matching embellishments from elsewhere. The templates I chose come in handy some times but not always.

I am up to date except for the selfie. I havent always done the tasks in order either as some ideas need a while to germinate. The hardest for me: "then and now" ( a shortage of suitable photos) and the sunrise/sunset (pesky English weather did not oblige!)

I really hope "month of memories" becomes a regular feature of the monthly challenges.

Awesome, Kelly! I can imagine that you were a bundle of nerves--how cool is is it that you can chat on FB w/ your relative! Amazing!

Guess one could say that I'm letting the dishes and laundry pile up today so that I can snap a photo. Meanwhile, I'm catching up w/ my LO's. Sounds good, right?

Here is my Breakfast Layout.

My next task is to LSL which I've been able to keep up with (at least on the Month of Memories forum). Now, off to work on the "Then & Now" layout -- have 5 LOs to do and I'll be caught up!

I agree with you, Hilary, and I'm sure many others will agree, also! Has been a scavenger hunt of sorts finding a subject to snap for each of the challenges.
