May 23-Task #19 Progress

How is your Month of Memories coming along? Are you keeping up or falling behind? What has been your favorite challenge so far? What’s been the hardest for you? Have you stuck with the same templates/collections you posted in the first task, or have you gone in a new direction? Share in this post how you are doing!

Reminder: There won't be a task posted tomorrow (Sunday), but Theresa (Tiza) will be back Monday with a new task for you. Keep up the great work and have a wonderful weekend! :daisy:

I'm going to jump ahead of my other pending tasks and take care of this task while I wait for a good LO idea to present itself!

I was able to keep up with the challenges until last week (had to drive to Colorado, get the college guy and bring him home). Catching up now.

The challenges have been fantastic. I wasn't thrilled w/ snapping a selfie (but I did it). However, I truly enjoyed seeing current pictures of you guys, my online SG friends! :) Seeing everyone's artistic interpretation of the challenges has been wonderful. Personally, I've kept the "simple" theme and have not driven myself crazy w/ the usual nit-picking and wasting time over layout details. Each LO has come together quickly.

My fave from this month's challenge: I will actually finish and print a personal album to treasure. Wonderful gifts to ourselves, Ladies! :) Finally, I didn't really stay with the templates I chose, but I did look at those templates and drew layout inspiration from them. Also stuck to colors that would carry as a theme throughout the album.

Thanks to each of you behind the scenes for a wonderfully fun month of challenges!! :2468who-do-we-appreciate:

Well... For sure I'm not caught up unless you consider that I finally decided to just do my best and the tasks I could. So then I am very up to date! :)

I have kept with the templates I orginally planned and that and the 6"x4" size make it easier to scrap. Since I never did decide what collection I would use, I guess I'm on track with using whatever one comes to mind or seems to fit!

Of the layouts I've completed (sadly not a lot) I think my favorite was the breakfast one because I was at my sister's and she made me a cup of tea every morning and that day she made breakfast! Although when I sent her the layout link she said "EWWwwww, you showed your half-eaten breakfast??" I told her it was because her breakfast was so yummy I started to eat it before I took the pic. Partly true - but also because I kept forgetting!I

Actually I went back and looked - I also really loved my little sister and me way back and most especially my "Toto we're not in Kansas anymore" page. That one really helped my mood.

I still have a hard time being too long on the computer, so even though I haven't completed a lot of pages, I've very much been enjoying looking through the Gallery each day and learning more about my ScrapGirl Friends and their days.

My hardest task has probably been the selfie because I SOOOoo did not want to post that pic. I thought it was kinda funny and didn't look like me so was a bit horrified when people said "Oh this is what you look like". Oh well. We're all friends, right? :)

Oh Carol I have been thinking of you and so good to see you here! You are still such a short time from surgery, of course you have no energy. Just keep healing and don't worry what you can't complete - you need to get "all better" most importantly! Take care.

I have managed to keep up. All tasks are up to date. I just have a few layouts to LSL on. I have kept with the templates and collections I stated at the beginning.

Dont know how I will go this week. My dear dad had a stroke on Friday morning so we have been down at the hospital the last couple of days. We really are just playing a game of wait and see. They have had to stop his blood thinners so his heart has to work harder. It really came out of the blue as he was keeping so well.

I will try to keep up as it may keep my mind occupied.

Glad to hear that you are doing well, Carol. Just lay back and heal...work on your album as you start to feel better. Hope that you get the range of motion that you're looking for, too. Good luck with PT!

Sorry to hear about your dear dad, Laraine. Such a difficult thing to work through by simply waiting. Hang in there.

Here I am posting my "Then and Now" photos of my precious boys. God blessed me with some wonderful young men.

task 19-progress

I have loved this months game :) at the moment I need to do task 17 and 18 but generally caught up. I have used the same template throughout my pages but used different kits. I'm not sure which has been my favourite challenge as loved them all although my least favourite is the 'selfie' (not done it yet as a selfie looks really bad after a day at work and I have been out all day today so might take one later :) )

Laraine I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad....prayers and big hugs to you all :)

Task #19:

I am very behind, but hope to catch up this week. I have been sticking to my templates and the May SG Club. The layouts are starting to look the same to me, but it is much faster to scrap when I don't have to do a bunch of hunting for supplies.

I actually took the selfie of Caitlyn and I before I read the assignment, otherwise that probably would have been my least favorite, otherwise I am enjoying most of the tasks.
