I want you to find something that reminds you of your mother (or grandmother, or special mother figure, etc.) and use that as inspiration to create your layout. In my case, I took a picture of a quilt that my grandmother made for me from her fabric scraps. The part that I'm using as my inspiration is a piece of fabric that reminds me of the shirts she used to wear. Any item will do, a chair that you like the lines of, a trinket that reminds you of a particular collection, a flower that was her favorite color. Be sure to include a snapshot of the item that inspires you and tell us about it. When you are finished, please post your completed layout in the Weekend Challenge Gallery for all of us to see and leave a link here in this thread. I used the grey and black from the little outfits Mom sewed as well as the pink from Mom's blouse in the photo of her with my son as the color palette for my page.
