ValerieT
Something old,Something new,Something borrowed,Something blue,And a silver sixpence in her shoe.I'm sure we've all heard this rhyme, but did you know it originates from England! Although no-one knows for sure where in England it was first used.Today I thought we could use this rhyme to embellish our wedding layouts. I want you to add something to your layouts to represent at least three lines of the rhyme. Don't forget to tell us what you used. Post your layouts in the Weekend Challenge Gallery. I can't wait to see how creative you get with this challenge.

ewaechter
This has been kind of fun! I put the explanation in my comments for the photo, but here they are again: I can't remember what the old/new/borrowed was on the day this was taken, but for the layout: Something old - the photos are exactly 49 years old! ( I don't want to hear about how behind you are at scrapping your wedding! LOL!) Something new - the curled paper template is new (to me) and first time I've used it. Love it! Something borrowed - I "borrowed" the scatter pattern from Angie's WY and replaced the beads with crystals from Elisha Something blue - Nice blue ribbon and a gingham paper Silver sixpence - well it's bronze, but the ONLY coin I have in my stash! http://scrapgirls.net/forum/uploads/gallery/category_330/gallery_24769_330_218820.jpg Edit: Oops - the photo is only 46 years old. It gets harder to count when you reach the high numbers. LOL!
