jhbren
The new boutique is quite easy to use - except for one thing. Twice now, I've added products to my cart, and then closed my browser. When I went back to review my choices and purchase, my cart was empty. What am I doing wrong? Jo
Becster
From what I've read, the new cart doesn't save like the old one did. Several people have posted about it, doesn't seem to be a solution.
jhbren
Oh - I missed those posts. I like to let the cart contents sit while I reconsider; guess I'll need to keep a written list. Thanks for the info, Becky.
JenniferZ
Are you making sure you are signed in to the boutique? If you aren't signed in, your cart won't save if you close your browser.
jhbren
Yes, I'm pretty sure I signed in by clicking on the spot for my password; email was already listed.
SodScrap
I was going to mention what Jennifer said. Can you utilize the wish list while you reconsider? Just a thought.
MariJ
I've had it happen to me, too Jo -- when I was both signed in and not signed in. Once I left the laptop open and walked away without closing anything and it disappeared. I, like you used to like to leave things in the cart and then decide - but it doesn't appear that can be done anymore.
April Showers
I just use the wish list since it is just as easy as adding it to the cart.
MariJ
I have Soooooo many items in my wishlist that it's hard to find the current ones I am considering to buy. Much easier when I could put them in my cart and shop from there.
jhbren
I have a wish list on my Mac - actually, it's an iPhoto library. Products I think I want, but am not quite sure about, go there. Things I'm almost positive I NEED I've been putting in the cart; since sales usually run for two days, that gave me time to consider which ones fit the budget. Guess I'll have to try out the SG wish list! Thanks for the information, ladies.
Cheri T
How about keeping a few tabs open on your browser, each to a different product you are considering? Even if you shut your computer down, Firefox (not sure about others) will remember your tabs if you go to History when you reopen. This will help if you have a huge wishlist.
