The end of the month is just about here and I was not able to make the time to get any pages created but I have copied into a word document the prompts from this challenge and hope to eventually create some pages using the prompts.

That's great Anne Marie - will be happy to see your pages whenever you can complete them!

YIKESS!! Write a letter about me, are you serious? I'm a journalphobe. lol! I am behind by 2 LOs plus this task. Feel kind of stuck at the moment. May just need to refocus. I'm also way behind on LSL. I'm having some technically difficulties with that but April is helping me try to resolve it. This month's challenge has been a mixed bag of emotions for me. It's been a lot of fun doing LO of my old pictures. It has been bittersweet as well. Before I learned what I have learned, I felt like I was never really close to my parents. I knew the loved me in their own way. My sister says that it's probably because mom had to go back to work. Now when I look back, I'm wondering if what they were trying to hide had affect on our relationship and how it might have shaped me who I am today. The silver lining is it made me what to be sure I had a close relationship with my daughters and I think we do.

As for printing into a book. Not sure. I have printing credits at Persnickety Prints so I'll probably do that and put them in an album.

As usual, thanks for all the fun!!!!

Well here is my memories page in place of a vacation page because I made a vacation page as my favorite memories page...I guess I was ahead of myself. I have been leaving comments almost every day.

I have enjoyed making my pages and I have enjoyed reading about everyones childhood too.

One thing I have learned from this month long challenge is that life was much slower paced!

Task #25

Wow, this has been a great month, although sometimes I found it difficult to find the time to create all these pages. I have enjoyed it very much and appreciate all the planning that went into picking the subjects. I am going to print my pages 8 x 8, and have already bought small albums for all my kids and grandkids. I plan to do three more pages in order to fill the albums that I bought, and I know what I'm going to do with them. I'm going to give the albums to my family members on Christmas Eve, and hope that they enjoy them as much as I did.

Here's my letter that I wrote. I have edited it several times, and this is what I'm using.

Task um... I think #24 Travel/Vacation layout.

Task #25 I had written a letter to our oldest granddaughter when I made a Grandmother Book for her and gave it to her on her first birthday. The letter was sealed in a "time capsule" that her parents kept until this year when she got to open it. I know the letter is somewhere on my computer, but I couldn't find it for this challenge, so I'll have to think of a new letter, I guess. Not today, however. This month's forum game has been great -- I got most of a digital book put together and can easily add pages to it with the photos I found and scanned and with the addition of more personal journaling. I do plan to print the book. I have a coupon for Adoramapix and want to give them a try. I've heard good things about them.

I've been keeping up with LSL and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone's layouts and reading about everyone's young lives. We are an interesting group with lots of stories to tell!

Great forum game! Thanks, Welcoming Committee!

Yes, I've done the same--saved the prompts and continue to work on this album as I receive photos from my mom. I'll keep posting them after I finish--have two more on the fire today!

I've thoroughly enjoyed visiting memories conjured from both photos that Mom sent (that I had totally forgotten about) and from reading everyone's journalling here. Pleasant surprise to see that we all have a lot in common yet have our own unique set of experiences that makes us who we are today. Also enjoyed getting to know some of you better--and while we already know it, we have some wonderful personalities on this forum! :)

Welcoming Committee, thank you for some fab prompts and congrats on getting some of us to journal more! Has been a great forum game.

A special congrats to those of you who finished all the prompts and your page!!

Last task---I think---Here is my letter of love page.

Since I keep a log book on the boat of all of our travels I decided to use a log book look for this page.

I have had a wonderful time with this months "scrap adventure" stepping back in time with everyone!!!

I plan to make more pages of my life after we moved and then I will start one of my husband to tell his "Before my name was Grampy" book. I have scrapbook folders for each of my grandchildren so a copy of these folders will go into each of them...I feel the future is digital so I will stick with the digital format.

Huge thank you to everyone who joined in this month.

I have done the draw for the winners, keep your eye on the blog to see if one of them is you.

Don't forget, if you didn't complete all the tasks this month but still want to finish your book, the tasks will still be here for you to check back on.

Thank you Marilyn!!!

I've thought about doing a book about dh for the kids, but he wasn't too happy with that idea. I'm going to add a few more pages to my book with pictures I like that didn't really go with any of the themes.

Thank you, Marilyn! Fabulous idea--I've wanted to put together this book for quite a while now, and I always put it off. Now, I have my mom busy gathering photos for me, and I'm finally getting it done!

I remember my mom's and my grandma's stories as the told them to me as a young girl. Two days ago, Mom sent some photos to me that I didn't know existed. It's been fun revisiting my childhood memories and finally getting this project started! Thanks for a fantastic challenge!
