MariJ
Are you interested in learning digital Art Journaling? Excited about the layouts you've already created and anxious to make more? Join Marilyn (MariJ) and Jody (Jode2771) in the chat room on Monday, September 28th at 9 PM ET for an Art Journaling Chat and Challenge. We will discuss the basics of Art Journaling and at the end of the chat provide a prompt for starting a page. Come join the fun and talk about Art Journaling -- you might even find yourself motivated to try a layout! Hope to see you there. PLEASE NOTE: We are conscious that ScrapGirls live in all parts of the globe, so our aim is to alternate months and times. So while this is a later ET chat, (therefore evening for some members) next month we will schedule an early morning ET Chat in order to make it easier for other time zones. Come join the fun and talk about ideas and Art Journaling! Here's my layout - Smiles? and here's Jode's Layout - Jody's Smiles Chat Update: We had a fun chat! This month’s prompt is: “Today I Smiled…“ We were thinking about smiles and what they mean — generally and in any given moment. Look at the prompt…. And, see where it takes you! Please post your completed layout in the Art Journaling Gallery and leave a link here in this thread. We can't wait to see what makes you smile. Scrapin Pat
Thanks ladies for the chat. I enjoyed doing the layout or maybe I should say it enjoyed pestering me till it was done. I did it based on a book I am reading One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. If you haven't read it you should. My layout is in the gallery. Unfortunately its been ages since I've done a link on the website and couldn't make it work. Anyone want to provide some remedial help?
MariJ
Thanks ladies for the chat. I enjoyed doing the layout or maybe I should say it enjoyed pestering me till it was done. Unfortunately its been ages since I've done a link on the website and couldn't make it work. Anyone want to provide some remedial help? Hi Pat, sure! Glad you enjoyed the chat it was nice having you there. I giggled at your description of doing a layout or it doing you, it's a great way to describe it. To leave a link - first copy the address for your layout - at the top of the page where its posted in the gallery. Then come back here to the thread and type the name of your layout (or whatever you want to link). Highlight your title, then click the "link" icon above this box here -- it's the 9th across in the second row down and looks like a chain link. When the box comes up, paste in your link in the URL spot, then click ok and you are good to go! Hope that helps - I'm rushing to get out but wanted to answer. PS - don't forget to click "Post" when you are all finished - I sometimes forget to do that!

Thanks for the wonderful prompt Marilyn - I actually had several different ideas, but this was the one that made it onto the screen (must try and have a go at the others at some point....)
