I am currently running windows7 with all updates done.I have plenty of memory, etc my computer is only a year old. Adobe had an update this week which I did right away but it didn't stop the error message. I am wondering if anyone is running Windows 10 with PSE14 and if they are having any problems. I have Windows 10 and it seems that when I have the internet running and PSE, that is when 14 locks. I think that is because 14 uses a lot of memory and so does the internet. If you find something out please let me know. I have tried shutting everyithing else off...no luck. I really want to use this program but shutting down and loosing my work is so frustrating. Here you have all new things (usually they blame it on "old") and you can't get it to work properly. Not only that but then you can't get help for new products. Just a thought, but have you tried asking in the Windows/Microsoft Forums or the person who'd help with a computer issue? (sorry, being Mac I don't know what the options are). Sometimes my Mac people can help me with Adobe so maybe that's a possibility. Sure wish you could get this sorted out. So sorry, both of you... I knew someone would have it by now. But this is not what I wanted to hear! Has anyone had luck with resolutions....of the adobe kind? I have windows 10 and upgrading from PSE11. lorac Posted January 14, 2016 Share Posted January 14, 2016 I go between PSE12 and 14, as 14 still seems to stop working every so often. Can't seem to get anywhere with Adobe. scrapgran Posted January 17, 2016 Share Posted January 17, 2016 I ummed & ahed then decided against installing Windows 10 when I read the Adobe information pages. They only test the current version with the new platforms and install at your own risk. I have PSE 12 so decided to stick with that on Windows 8.1. I'm going to upgrade to 16RAMs but I think the cache settings can be changed to help, though I haven't quite figured that out yet. I need to investigate further.
