Task 2 - Jan 26th

Photos of ice skating at the Rockefeller Center in New York. The fountain was lit up and lights were changing color, I caught the red on camera which I matched with this months Scrap Girls Club MRE_Bright Canyon_Collection. I turned down saturation on my other photo and set opacity to approx 30, placed another paper from MRE_Bright Canyon_Collection underneath my b&w photo which I then clipped to the mask.

I've added papers from Elisha's Sugar Plum collection, embellishments from AMC_Cookie Swap (ret), and AFT SSStyle_Micro Glitter on the photo borders. The embellishments may be moved, or replaced, depending on what tasks are assigned next. So far, this has been fun!'

I had already added styles to my page, but I went back and changed them to these styles: SNU SSTools Styles Cardstock Fall 6305 and KVE SSStyles Intaglio 7601 Mauve. I used them on the frames.

Those cookies look yummy. They're making me hungry. But too many carbs for me.

The brushes I used were Elisha's Life Stories "The Story", filled with red from the border paper, and a soft edge PSE basic brush as an eraser for the lower layer of the journaling strip. Since DH and I will be leaving for the airport at 8AM tomorrow, I've gone ahead and finished the 2 pages. I anticipated adding a title and journaling as likely tasks. Thanks for a great month, ladies! I've enjoyed the challenges, and am happy to have finished pages for so many recent photos - and some old ones.

All the templates look great! DH and I are on the road travelling from NJ to Florida so I'll have to catch up when we get home. Hopefully tomorrow night.... or the next morning. Meanwhile I'm collecting inspirations. :)

Have a safe journey and enjoy the inspirations along the way, that must be about 1,000 miles you are covering.

Thanks, Mariel. And you were right: It turned out to be even more: about 1200 miles.

The thumbnails are looking great! I have a lot of catching up to do.

post-24445-0-67830000-1454011028_thumb.jpg.I am going back in time to try to get caught up.I altered one photo by changing it to B&W then placing it over the color photo and erasing Sarah's flowers. The one of them in the woods drinking champagne was altered in Perfect Effects. The dreaming photo of them by their pond was altered in PSE14

I am trying to get caught up with these tasks. I added bevel style from PSE14 to the mask layer of the template. I also added my paper.

Now I work on todays task.

I currently do not have Internet access at home or via my phone (using my nephews phone now). Not sure when it will be back but I will get this last week finished and upload the final layout from my moms this weekend. Didn't want you all to think I had fallen off the face of the earth :-)

I sure hope you get your Internet back soon. How did we ever live before Internet??? :)

Wk 4 Task 4 brush. I added a brush from ACA Brush Set: Living it Up (retired) to use as a title. Then I decided to invert the template. I also added the other photos. I want to do something with the main photo -- probably a frame, or maybe blend it into the background. I'll work on it tonight. I'm also experimenting with different papers and will add them tonight or tomorrow.

Everyone's layouts are looking fabulous!

I was wondering... You're ok.
