BarbaraC1977
I know many people here use Picasa. I love it as a previewer, as I can tell what's transparent, and Windows photos doesn't show masks at all, since it's background is black. I just learned that Google plans to retire Picasa and switch development to Google Photos. See http://googlephotos.blogspot.com/
teecee
Hmmm, I've used Picasa for a long time and love it. I'll miss it for sure. I'll check out the link and see what's coming up. Thanks for the info, Barbara!

mimes1
I'm glad I have it downloaded on my computer. I just downloaded a fresh copy to save and store should I ever need it on a new computer.
Smiles
I'm pretty sure if you have it on your computer, it will continue to run. They just won't support it or update it. Downloading a fresh copy sounds like a good idea!

Downloading a fresh copy sounds like a good idea! From what I read, I'm thinking the same thing, Gayle - it will still run, there just won't be any support/updates for it. At least I hope that's the case because I would feel lost without it.
