Those are possibilities too. Drury Hotel has locations in both cities - O'Fallon and Fairview Heights. So we could have a meeting room and all the free breakfast, snacks, and popcorn we're getting used to Sounds like a plan...Laura would you be willing to check availability for us? The meeting room is $150 for 8 hours on Saturday if tat is ok. IT is book on Sunday and I am not sure about Friday. I think it is $100/4 hours. The rooms are roughly $100 per night. She is going to check and see what she can do for pricing on the rooms so maybe it will be a bit cheaper on the rooms. It is about the 1/3 mark between the hotel and Carlyle Lake. Most grab a roommate and split, but the few who like single prefer king beds. Another thing is to be sure they have free wifii...that's sort of essential Thank you Laura!!! Usually they price both, and then when we make our individual reservations they can specify which type. It's not a deal breaker if they don't have King bed rooms... KFiasco Posted June 28, 2016 Share Posted June 28, 2016 I'm trying to think outside the box to things like scrapbook retreat places, but it seems like all the ones in STL arrange for hotels (similar to our process). So they'd be in the same boat and they only do certain weekends because of that. Any other ideas? I saw there's a casino hotel, but that might be a little extreme for us and I couldn't determine if they had meeting rooms. I like the set up of the scrapping place being in the same building...other options?
