MariJ
This week we’re exploring how to mix patterns on a page. Mixing patterns are a big trend in clothing this Spring (Autumn if in the Southern Hemisphere!) and I don’t know about you, but this is one of the most difficult things for me to do when creating a scrapbook page. A wonderful tutorial by April Martell is a great help and you can find it here - How to Use Patterns Your page does not need to be a Heritage page but for today’s NL Challenge we’d like to see you use a bold mix of patterns on your layout using one of the techniques used in the tutorial. When it is completed please post it in the Weekly Newsletter Challenge Gallery and add a link in this thread. Don't forget to add your link to the May Challenge Chase Gallery too, once the chart is posted! I can’t wait to see what you come up with! Here's my layout - Friends
ladyscrapalot
I always shy away from patterned paper, they seem to overpower everything. Now you want me to mix patterns? Oh boy, talk about stepping outside my comfort zone! Thanks for the link for the tutorials. Will have to see how brave I can be!!
