wish list for designers

Recommended Posts

Yesterday's post about about an embroidery hoop got me thinking. I would love to see a kit about embroidery or cross stitching. I love to include my stitching wip's in my Project Life lo's, but it's hard to find elements in that theme. I have Jo's JCO_SewMuchMore_Embells but it's been retired, and the other sewing kits we have here focus more on machine sewing and dress making.

Also, maybe some mini kits about foreign foods? We just had a Greek luncheon at church, and some Greek embellishments would be fabulous! And Italian, Japanese, Chinese... you get the idea. :-)

I have the new Pizzeria kit and can't wait to use it! Mama Mia's Pizzeria

Thanks all!

What a great thread. I always think it must be hard to continually come up with new ideas for designers and ones that please the buying public. This should be a great inspiration for them.

Love Becky's suggestion with the handcraft theme. Would like to add to it a bit of patchwork as well. Thats my latest little addiction

I've just discovered a hoard of fantastic photos of my Dad in WW2. A militaria themed kit (khaki papers, rifles, ration tins etc) that could be used for any nationality would be a "must have" for me ..........

This would be wonderful as the military at the moment is very American and doesn't really work with our photos :)

Another suggestion would be some lovely fern leaves as they unfold as its very much a part of New Zealand. I love the palm leaves, roses and beautiful greenary in the boutique but not always suitable for us down-under :) I know there is the maiden-hair fern in one of Brandy Murrys LO and I love that :)

Becky, I have a crosstitch kit/styles on my list to do. It's one I can certainly push closer to the top of the list :)

For now, what I have is the BlackWork Styles

I love all the great suggestions, my to do list was getting pretty small, not sure what to create next.

Such a great thread. For me, thinking up a theme and title for my kits is a pain in the b*! So when I have no idea where to go with a kit, I for sure will check in here.

Becky, I have kit on the back burner that I'm calling "Crafter's Table" which is along the lines of Artist's Table Collection Super Mini.

It does include an embroidery hoop and floss. I have some things I'm working on now, but I'll bring that forward!

I just put a new mini in the store: Crafter's Table Collection Mini.

It's got an embroidery hoop!
