Some files locked so I can't move them. I notified my credit card so they could take care of it, also immediately sent safer-web an email canceling. It's supposed to create a private, secure and encrypted connection. However, I read this article: https://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-safer-web-virus/ I don't know if it is talking about the same thing because the "SaferWeb" in this article is definitely adware. VPN, and I've gotten rid of some of it, but the icon keeps popping up saying sign in. A person from Saferweb wrote me an email offering free stuff if I would keep it. I said I appreciated his concerns, but please tell me how to uninstall it. Heard no more from him. Amex is protecting my account but I just want any and all of it off my system, even if it was my fault. I'm usually pretty careful, but things have been crazy lately.
