lindarobin
I was at Staples (Canada) using the self-serve color printer and noticed it now accepts JPG files! (Previously they had to be PDF.) This makes it easier and cheaper than ever to get professional printing of 11x17 pages. This is great if you are designing your own 11x17 pages or using http://store.scrapgirls.com/ScrapSimple-Calendar-Templates-11x17-Blenders-2017.html So now we can just export our PSD files to JPG onto memory stick, insert memory stick into printer, select the 11x17 paper size and... seconds later your pages start coming out! While you are there, you can also get your newly printed pages spiral bound so they hang like this:
MariJ
Wow, THANKS Linda! I was just at Staples yesterday and I've used memory sticks for printing but this is great information and a cheaper way to get copies done. Appreciate you sharing this. lorac
Wow! At these prices, I might have to do a calendar for next year. Thanks for the info Linda.
MariJ
Just wanted to add that I made color copies on cardstock friday; for 8.5x11 the price in my NJ Staples was $1.19 each. Color copies of the same size on regular copy paper were $.59. So, as Linda said - her prices were in Canada, it might be a bit more in the USA. But still a great value! lindarobin
In my province, I'm paying 89 cents for 11x17 full color laser print on 28lb semi-gloss. But taxes are 13%
MariJ
Wow, that's great Linda! Taxes in NJ are 7%.... I think you're still ahead! Either way, it's a great option and find, thanks again!
