My image constantly disappears off the work space when I select a tool--ie click opacity, brush tool, stuff like that--and I have to open it up out of the Photo Bin. Only to have it disappear again when I do something to the image. Certainly not a complete deal buster but exceedingly annoying. Using PSE 11 on a Mac running Sierra. Any help appreciated. You mean when you click on the tool the photo totally disappears, not that it goes behind something else? Sounds like those gremlins have been at work on your computer and PSE! Belle Posted December 15, 2016 Share Posted December 15, 2016 This happened to me a lot when I was using PSE11 on my PC. Whenever it disappeared I would just do UNDO and it would come back. Does it happen at the beginning or after you've added several layers and elements? CRS Posted December 16, 2016 Share Posted December 16, 2016 I don't have PSE, but have you checked your preferences to see if something got checked that tells the image to go to the photo bin when switching tools?
